God Loves your children and so do we! Our children are precious gifts from God. At The Village Baptist Church our goal is to assist you in the spiritual growth of your children. Each aspect of our ministry is geared to the development of their spiritual life and guiding them to grow in a life-long personal relationship with Jesus. That's why we are passionate about partnering with you in the spiritual growth of your children.
We offer a safe, secure, and loving environment where children feel welcomed and parents can feel comfortable leaving their children.

Preschool
Jesus loves the little children and so do we! Our preschool ministry is a nurturing place where caring adults show children God’s love in a warm, clean and safe environment.
Children, birth through age 4 are assigned to preschool rooms based on their date of birth. They are loved and cared for in their classroom, allowing their parents to attend Bible Study, Fellowship and Worship without worry or concern. A Fun Learning that Kids Love (Friday Evening)
- Bible teaching, worship, award presentations and the gospel message
- Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons
- Age-appropriate games in the Awana game circle
Every Friday night from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm each week is an action-packed night of high energy games that encourages team enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and Bible memorizations through council time messages. The goal of the Awana club is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus and to train them to serve Him.
The Awana Clubs are for all children, ages 3 through grade 6.
- Cubbies 3 to 4 yr olds
- Sparks 5 to 8 yr olds
- T & T 9 to 12 yr olds

Sunday School
Each Sunday morning, boys and girls enter a classroom where they are provided with an atmosphere of acceptance, security, learning and love. Through learning experiences appropriate for each level, children are guided to the knowledge of God, the Bible, and how it relates to the world around them. As these groups meet each week, guests are welcome and friendships are nurtured.

Children’s Choir (resumes Sept. 1st)
Children’s Choir is a wonderful experience for children, 1st grade through sixth grade, as they learn to worship God in music and song. Children’s choir meets each Wednesday evenings at 6:30 to 7:30pm

Children’s Church
Our children’s worship program is specially designed for our children. Each week children worship God together and learn how to act out His Word in their lives in a child-friendly, fun and interactive service!
Children, 1st-6th Grade, can join us in the fellowship hall from 10:30 to 12:00 each Sunday morning.
Your child will enjoy their very own worship service while you attend our adult worship service.

Children's Summer Camp (June)
Your child will experience a wonderful week at children’s camp. Camp helps children completely focus on the love of Christ and challenges them to make lasting commitments for life.
Vacation Bible School (July)
VBS is for children who are entering pre-k this fall all the way up to 6th grade (completed). VBS is fun and filled with activities and music that will capture the children’s imagination. Pre-registration generally begins June 1. Our children learn about God’s plan and being like Jesus. At the end of each day, our children discover that God’s Word has all the answers!

Baby Dedication
Baby Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents, and sometimes entire families, make a commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. This is an opportunity to focus on what will affect your child’s future. No one will have more influence on your child than YOU!
 | Helping Hands Needed
A growing ministry ALWAYS needs extra hands. Parents, grandparents, singles and young married couples volunteer to serve on a rotation basis.
We believe the future of our world lies in the minds, hands, and hearts of our children. As we partner together to invest God’s truths in the children of today, we can impact tomorrow for Jesus Christ through these future leaders in families, communities and the world.
